Designing AI-powered consumer hardware with a ChatGPT companion

My teammates and I were tasked with this brief as part of our first project at Silicon Valley School of Design. We explored the hardware × AI landscape, ideated (and eliminated) a lot of concepts, tested them with users, and iterated upon the feedback we received from industry designers (we even presented to a designer who worked on the Humane Pin!). Eventually, we landed on an ambient wearable we called Tomo.
